I’m here to listen, without judgment.
I’m Christine Chapman, a therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families.
Some of my loved ones struggled with mental illness, addiction, and divorce, so I understand these issues on a deep, personal level.
My work is not just academic. It’s shaped by lived experience and empathy.
Therapy transformed my life — first as a client, later as a student, and now as a practitioner.
It helped me heal and live more fully, and I’m devoted to helping my clients do the same.
I’m a therapist, licensed clinical social worker, and certified psychoanalyst, in practice for more than 25 years.
I work with individuals, couples, and families, currently ranging from 23 to 98 years old. Licensed in New York State and in the process of obtaining my Massachusetts license, I see clients in Manhattan and the Berkshires, primarily via Zoom.
Although I don’t prescribe medication, I bring a strong understanding of the medical model. Combined with the healing work of talk therapy, these tools help my clients gain greater insight into themselves and their relationships. My approach is uniquely collaborative, drawing on multiple modalities to support treatment and recovery.
